Notice Period Calculator

Formula

Notice Period Completion Date = Resignation Date + Notice Period Days

For working-day calculations, Saturdays and Sundays are excluded.

Example Calculation

An employee resigns on 10 September 2026 with a 30-day notice period.

The estimated notice completion date will be calculated based on the selected notice period type.

If approved leave extends the notice period, the additional days may be reflected in the estimated last working day.

Note

Notice period rules can vary by employment contract and company policy. Leave during the notice period may or may not extend the notice period depending on the employer's policy.

Disclaimer

This calculator provides an estimated notice period and last working day for general reference only. The actual last working day may vary based on the employment contract, company policy, approved leave, notice waiver, buyout, holidays, and other applicable rules.

Important: If Buyout/Waiver = Yes, the calculator treats the resignation date as the estimated last working day because the full notice period is not being served. The actual treatment may vary depending on the company's policy and employment contract.
