HR Usage Guidelines

  1. Assign a responsible owner and target date to each relevant task.
  2. Update the tracker regularly instead of waiting until the end of onboarding.
  3. Mark tasks as completed only after the required activity has been verified.
  4. Escalate overdue or blocked activities to the relevant owner.
  5. Use check-ins to understand the employee’s experience and provide timely support.
  6. Keep personal and employment records secure, and share the tracker only with authorised people.
  7. Adapt the checklist to the employee’s role, work location and company procedures.

Disclaimer: This is a general HR template. Customise it to your organisation’s onboarding process, employment requirements and applicable laws before use.
